Condition Report Explained

The condition report provides an independent evaluation of each vehicle's roadworthiness.

Certified (Gold): Vehicle has no roadworthy-relevant faults, has passed (or will pass) an official roadworthy inspection, and has a complete and up-to-date service history. No service is required within the next 90 days from date of sale.

Ready (Silver): Vehicle has no roadworthy-relevant faults and will pass a formal roadworthy inspection. However, the service history may be outdated, and servicing may be required soon after purchase.

Note (Bronze): Vehicle has roadworthy-relevant faults that must be repaired before it can be driven legally. It is not roadworthy in its current condition and will require reconditioning to meet legal standards.

What it is

  • WeBuyCars prioritises full transparency when advertising vehicles.
  • The condition report provides an independent evaluation of each vehicle's roadworthiness and overall mechanical and cosmetic condition.
  • The report focuses on essential roadworthy aspects including:
    • Brake performance test.
    • Shock absorber test.
    • Wheel alignment.
    • Tyre specifications and measurements.
    • Diagnostic report highlighting error codes.
    • Photos of vehicle's undercarriage and body highlighting aspects which might require repairs/maintenance.
    • High-level cosmetic description and evaluation.

What it's not

  • It's not a full mechanical evaluation.
  • It's not designed to evaluate the vehicle's mechanical functioning.
  • We encourage and welcome you to bring a professional mechanic of your choice to assist you in evaluating the vehicle. Your peace of mind and confidence in your purchase are of utmost importance to us.
  • Trust us for transparency, but when it comes to mechanics, rely on the experts.

Disclaimer

  • Snapshot in Time: This report reflects the vehicle's condition at the time of inspection. Mechanical components may fail or change unexpectedly. This is not a guarantee of future condition.
  • Accident History: This report is based on visual inspection only. Inspectify and WeBuyCars cannot verify past accidents or structural repairs. No accident history is confirmed or implied.
