1978 Volkswagen Beach

This pre-owned 1978 Volkswagen Beach Buggy, also known as a VW Beach Buggy or VW Buggy, is a classic open-body recreational vehicle for beach trips, leisure touring, weekend cruising, and enthusiast motoring. The German Volkswagen, VW and European-brand buggy has a gloss red and white exterior with white tubular bumpers, white trim, white roll bar and white steel wheels. Large off-road tyres, a front bull bar, rear bumper, split windscreen, windshield wipers, round headlights and side mirrors give it an adventurous beach and light off-road character. The manual transmission, right-hand-drive layout, speedometer, leatherette seats and rear bench seat complete its period-style specification. This red beach buggy suits collectors, classic vehicle enthusiasts and buyers seeking an open-top leisure vehicle for holidays, events or recreational driving. Photos show surface rust on the roll bar and front bumper, plus scuffed flooring and marked rear seat upholstery. Located at the Vereeniging Branch in Vereeniging, Gauteng.
