The four-door, five-seat Kia is suited to a first car, student car, daily commuter and practical city car, with a 390-litre boot for shopping, luggage and family use. Its 1.3-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, five-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive make it a straightforward economical runabout and fuel saver. The Rio can tow up to 1,100 kg, making it useful for light trailer duties.
