This pre-owned 2017 BMW S 1000 R, also known as the BMW S1000R and Beemer S 1000 R, is a German and European naked road sportbike for riders wanting sharp performance, everyday commuting and weekend riding. Its 999 cc four-cylinder petrol engine produces 118 kW, with a six-speed manual gearbox, rear-wheel drive and seating for two. The 17-litre tank and 207 kg tare suit spirited road riding, urban commuting and longer motorcycle trips, while the upright naked-bike format offers an engaging performance ride. This maroon-red BMW has black body panels with red, white and blue graphics, a tinted windscreen, bar-end mirrors, gold upside-down forks, Brembo front brakes, redline wheel decals and a digital instrument cluster. Visible details include a scratched black engine cover, discoloured exhaust headers and surface rust on the chain. It is available at the Dome Branch in Randburg, Gauteng.
