2017 BMW S Series

The 2017 BMW S 1000 R, also known as the BMW S Series S 1000 R or Beemer S 1000 R, is a German and European road sportbike for performance riding, weekend rides, enthusiastic riders and fast daily commuting. This maroon-red and red BMW motorbike has black body panels with red, white and blue graphics, a 999 cc four-cylinder petrol engine producing 118 kW, a six-speed manual gearbox, rear-wheel drive, two seats and a 17-litre fuel tank. Sportbike equipment includes a tinted windscreen, bar-end mirrors, gold upside-down forks, Brembo front brakes, redline wheel decals and a digital instrument cluster. The black engine cover shows light scratching, while the exhaust headers are discoloured and surface rust is visible on the chain.
